Black Mint Decor

Black Mint was founded by Crystal Smith, a born and raised Washington DC native. She began working for the federal government in 2011, where she began to climb the corporate ladder and still is. While maintaining her career in Corporate America she has always had an eye for interior design, pottery, cooking and art. On the weekends she would stage projects for friends and referral clients and also design presentation pieces in her own home. She then decided that she wanted to open a business for home renovation staging and her own line of interior home decor. She is proud to be a black owned candlemaker here in the DC area.
