Define, Conceal and Contour Like a Pro with Celebrity MUA Tae Rene

Welcome to Beauty Talk with Tae! Learn 3 key makeup techniques to enhancing your daily look from Tae Rene. #BeautyTalkWithTae is all about expert beauty tips and tutorials each week at aspire.TV!

Step 1: Define

Your eyebrows are the frame of your face. Learn to bring out your best features by defining your brows with an eyebrow pencil. Next, highlight beneath your brow with a cream concealer 1 to 2 shades lighter than your natural complexion and set with a translucent powder or flesh tone eyeshadow.

Step 2: Conceal

More often than not we tend to neglect our sleep and water in take which can result in dark circles under the eye area, leaving us looking tired and dull. Here’s a quick solution.

Apply a small amount liquid or cream concealer to your under eye area. Try a concealer 1 to 2 shades lighter than your skin tone. Blend with your ring finger by lightly pressing the product into your skin until you no longer see a distinction between your skin tone and the product.

Now you look bright and awake!

Step 3: Contour

Take a setting powder, foundation, or concealer 1 to 2 shades darker than your complexion and apply to the hollow areas of your face with a contour brush. Blend lightly until you no longer see a major distinction between the product and your skin tone.

The results should appear as a light shadow beneath the cheek area. Now you’ve just lifted your cheek bones and made your face look slimmer!
